It been an on off project due to going away on holiday and other things getting in the way..but a few months i'm reconing..But work will be restarting and i hope to post a few more pics when the time comes.. At the moment ive been stuck on how to do the building complex and ask in earlier pot if any one had any ideas. I went to sleep last night pondering on how to do it. This is gonna be a big Diorama when completed and theres a lot more work a heck of a lot more to do its really still in early stages.. I didn't realise when i started the project how much of a job i had on my hands but im 100% im gonna pull it of and hopefully fingers crossed the result should be good... After i've done the doorway and complex wall i'll be moving on to work on the base structure of the platform and the piers that run off from it.. and then (phew) the actual platform (painting and adding towers and buliding up the platform so that it does look like a platform and not a piece of foam board) lots to do lots to do.. Also ive started to sort out my site, Nosco's spaceport.. This is were i'll be posting the latest updates of my diorama's progress.. -------------------------------------- www.freewebs.com/nosco_fett/

I've had a bit of the ole creative block of recent , struggling with how to do what and things not turning out the way id imagined they would but.. ive got some fresh ideas on materials, and ive planned out a build up process to work on to get things moving and so hopefully the diorama will be looking a lot better over the next week or so. I was initially thinking weekend for some good progress but.. I had some bad news this weekend , and i found out that my aunt had passed away and I found out this evening that the funeral is going to be on thursday.. So thats kinda a priority over the next few days.. But ill be doing some work and taking progress pics over this week hope fully.. So thats about it enough hyping and going on about what im planning and just get on with it really... Cheers for all the positive comments too guys and gals .. Im quite chuffed with hows its going as this is the first Diorama ive ever built.. Any way im off rambling again so i'll get goin haahaa, ill post some stuff as soon as i progress thanks again...

Hey thanks RD appreciate it... Ive got some more materials today so i can play around with those tonight.. The only thing im short with is acrylic paint and the shop were i know they stock it had what i wanted in, but it was really expensive and for the size of the diorama from there it would have cost me in total £60 ...£15.oo a tub which is way too much plus it wouldnt be enough to do the whole dio either!,so im now on the hunt for cheap British acrylic paint lol..

No Prob Nosco.....Man that is pretty steep for paint! How big is the tube? I get a 59ml. bottle for 49 cents! And its great paint!

Ya can get a Small tub which is ideal if ya doing custom work for about 5 quid, and the larger one is about the size of a pc speaker and thats 15 quid, but as i(think)i need three large type's of grey, thats 45 quid then the black thats 60 quid for the four tubs.. So what im gonna do is have look tommorrow and buy the large main grey tub and if they have the other two greys in the smaller ones get that size, same goes with the black and see how far on the painting side they take me.I didnt look to see if they had the other two smaller greys today coz i was disgusted at the price of the large tubs and stormed out,due to the fact i'd already bought a mini roller from another shop and i was gettin all excited and ready to paint lol! but i have gluegunned the platform to the walkway and iv'e been messin with some tubing for the lighting area today (which looks pretty sweet ) and i've been studing my reference pics and books for closer looks on the platform. So i've got some stuff swimmin around in my head and the ball has started to roll again, hopefully it will roll a lot faster in the next week or so...
