What is your favorite moment in customizing ?
For me is when I have an idea for a custom and when I finish it the way I wanted it. ;D

I love placing a finished custom on my shelf with my store bought figures and seeing that it looks just as good as what the toy company makes! It doesn't always turn out that way but when it does it's a magical moment!

It would definitely be putting it up on the shelf with the other figures and seeing how it looks in comparison to them.

I'd have to say the pride in knowing that I made that figure sitting on my shelf that Toybiz didn't even make and that it looks good sitting there. It feels good to have something turn out the way you want it. That goes for life in general as well. ;D

Great Board guys...I'll send some guys messages about it. There are NEVER too many customs boards. I just started customizing but I have to say solving a problem on how to make somthing work is my favorite. Finding a new way to accomplish something or figuring out a way around something is just so much fun. Of course, almost everything is new to me right now, so that means I should have fun for a while.

Welcome Glaken! Glad to see your venturing into Customizing!
Get ready for lots of headaches, cuts, and nasty crazy glue mishaps!
But its all worth it when you see that finished Custom and it looks just like you pictured it!
Have Fun!

"Get ready for lots of headaches, cuts, and nasty crazy glue mishaps!"
Yeah, already found that out. I tried to slice my finger off working on one the other night...always remember to cut away from body parts. Permanent mental note made. I've got a nice smiley faced cut on my index finger now. Only takes once to remember that.

I've found that superglue while helpful, can be very aggravating, i've yet to slice and dice myself yet, but i'm sure it's coming...

I just recently had my superglue tube break while working on a figure! Needless to say it took about three hours of scrubing to get it all off my hand!

Dremel works really well for that. Just be really careful ;D
