Awesome Deadpool! Nice paint work!, you don't have problems with paint chipping in the ball jointed articulations ?, Nice choice of parts BTW. How did you attached the arms and legs ? I haven't work in this scale and don't know how it works. ;D JOhnny

Thanks Johnny, ML ball joints pop pretty easily with the boil-n-pop method so swapping arms & legs (if they are ball jointed) isn't too difficult, but the legs on this one were the swivel joint ones so I had to cut the old pelvis off the DD torso & gut the top part of the Punisher pelvis off and sand both of them until they were flat. Then I drilled a hole in both parts, took a peg I had from disassembling one of the figures (I think it was the peg that holds the punishers head on) & glued it to the pelvis. Then I filled the upper hole with a quickdrying epoxy putty, sprayed an oil on the peg & pushed it up into the torso. This let the peg go into the epoxy while it was still pliable but the oil kept it from sticking to the pegs , that way, when it dried, it attached it so that it could still spin but not slide out. Kinda complicated, but it works pretty well. As for the paint & the ball sockets, Doubledealer told me how to sand the ball joints down with a dremel to give enough clearance to move with paint on them. Just sand down a good bit on the ball until the 2 halves move freely (almost loosely) then paint a little bit at a time. It works pretty well.

Deadpool looks sweet! great paint job great custom.. i've been working on the paint job of my first custom Mysterio and the joints are a bugger, as the paint has been coming off when moving the legs.. pain in the butt.. I've seemed to have sorted it .. coz i havnt moved em lol.
Love the battle with hulk pic!

Deadpool is one of my favorites. Great work! Maybe go just a slight bit darker red on the gloves and kneepads to give them a bit more definition. Just a thought.
